Frost Free Yard Hydrants
When looking for a plumbing faucet for the yard that will hold up to being pulled on, out of reach for small children and animals, and freeze proof, a buried yard hydrant is the best choice. The yard hydrant is set in the ground 2-feet deep with a gravel bed for drainage. It is also encased in concrete at ground level making a strong set. Our plumber can have it installed and ready for use within 24-hours.
Sewer, Drain, and Waste Clogs
Drain clogs are one of those situations when having the right tool for the job is priceless. Our plumbers are equipped with multiple drain machines, a sewer camera, and water jetter to ensure we have the right tool for the job. We are always training and educating our plumbers since no two drain clogs are the same. Keeping in mind that drains do not clog for no reason, our plumbers will not only restore your drains but provide a solution to prevent future clogs.
Once we have unstopped the drain our plumber can use a sewer camera to inspect the line and determine what caused the clog. The camera is equipped with a tracking device which allows the plumber to use a line locator to pin point the exact location of the problem in the sewer line.
Sewer Smell Smoke Testing
Sewer gas is very toxic as it reduces the clean ozygen in the air of your home. What most of our customers do not know is that this gas can provide a cover for methane gas. Methane gas has no odor and is created by the decomposition of human waste. This gas can be present even when the sewer smell is not due to open or broken drain lines. It is important that if you notice a sewer smell you seek professional help as soon as possible.
Sewer smells in your home can be a result of a dry trap or elbow at the sink, tub, shower, toilet, or air conditioning system. We recommend to our customers to run 2-cups of water into these areas to ensure the trap is full and see if the smell goes away. If this resolves the issue you should notice the smell disappearing after about 30-minutes.
Once the traps have been ruled out the best way to isolate a sewer smell is a smoke test. Our plumber uses specialized, non-staining, quickly dissipating smoke sticks in combination with test equipment to locate leaking on drains, waste vents, and failed traps. Don’t let your homes plumbing system put your loved ones at risk or in danger, call for immediate service.
Bath and Kitchen Faucets
Faucets for most of our customers can be like trying to decide on a car or finding someone that can repair them. Our plumbers are equipped with smart phones which allow them to help our customers find new faucets that will meet their needs. This same technology will aid in finding repair parts for even some of the most advanced faucets. Brands such as Moen, Delta, Pricefister, Kohler, Danze, Grohe, Peerless, and Aqua Source are just a few our plumbers have worked with. In some cases, name brand faucets have extended warranties on parts to reduce the cost of repairs that our plumber can help with.
Toilets and Water Closets
Also known as the “John”, invented by John Harrington in 1596 as the first flushing toilet. Many people have updated and improved upon this design which brings us to our current toilet. Our plumber is very knowledgeable in the different brands of toilets as well as different models of toilets. We have worked on many older 3-gallon flush toilets and the new 1.28-gallon flush toilets. Gas Leaks and New Gas Lines
We as a nation are seeing and hearing more of the dangers associated with natural gas and propane gas. Due to a number of incidents, the state of Texas and many others are improving the code requirements to prevent these horrific tragedies.
A majority of the public is not aware that licensed plumbers are the go to people for natural gas and propane installs or repairs.
Our experience with gas technicians is that when they turn off your gas they are not providing you with the full details as to why. We believe that gas companies are doing their best to not be portrayed as the “bad guy” for cutting off your gas, but it is their job to ensure you are safe. What they do not always say is that for the gas to be turned back on a licensed and certified plumber must make the repair, inspect all gas appliance for code violations, obtain a permit from the city, and have the system inspected by the city official. This process takes an average time of two days.
No matter how faint the smell of gas is in your home or yard it must be taken seriously for your family, your neighbors, and your homes safety. Call our plumber immediately, so we can locate and repair the leak.
Water and Sewer Jetter
Repetitive clogs with kitchen and main drain lines can be directly associated with build-up. Build-up in a sewer line can be rust, grease, human waste, food, and soil deposits. The terminology that most plumbers use when restoring flow at a clogged drain is “drain cleaning”. The problem with that statement is that they are using a rotary drain snake and only making a hole through the clog to restore flow, leaving behind the build up on the restricted lines. Which inevitably causes clogged drain symptoms to reoccur. Sewer jetters use high pressured water with an assortment of spray heads to remove build up and restore the line to a factory finish.
