Yard Hydrants or Exterior Faucets
Acute Plumbing Care can install new yard hydrants or replace existing leaking yard hydrants and exterior faucets. In some rare cases we can make minor repairs to the hydrants or exterior faucets. Our plumbing professionals will always give that option if it is a viable one.
A yard hydrant is special because they are designed with a drainage hole. This hole is buried within pea-gravel below the freeze level in the ground. This allows the water that remains in the faucet when you shut if off to drain out preventing freeze damage.
